On behalf of Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek and Interim Chancellor Buddy Mitchell, I would like to acknowledge and thank the 121 employees from UT Knoxville, the Institute of Agriculture and UWA invited to the Service Awards luncheon today.
Employees with 25 or more years of service were honored. We had 10 employees who have worked at UT for 40 years or more. These honorees hold a variety of jobs from administrative assistant to professor.
Employees are the University's finest asset. The University of Tennessee is fortunate to have so many long-serving and dedicated employees. It is a privilege to work alongside these faculty and staff members every day.
